who: two people were executed in China for selling toxic milk.
What: Zhang Yujun and Geng Jinping were excuted for selliing toxic milk and food to the Public. 6 babies were killed and 300,000 other people got sick.
Where: It happened in Beijing, China
When: It happened at November, 24, at 12:54.
why: They put dairy plants in the milk to give it a higher protien level, but they did not tell the people about what it could do to them.
Opinion: I think that it is mean to do that even though it might give them more protien. I think that their punishment is appropriete for their crime.

Dear congress,
I think that our nation is being ruined by smokers. So that is why I am writing you this letter to ask you to ban smoking. Some young kids get addicted to it at a young age so that is why it should be banned before they get addicted and become unhealthy. Smoking is very bad for people who do it, but its also bad for the people around them. People who dont smoke are getting punished by the people who do smoke.
Smoking can ruin peoples lungs by giving them lung cancer and give you heart disease. People who smoke spend alot of money each week on packs of cigrettes.
This doesn't help them becouse they wont have enough money to pay their bills. Even though it would not be good for the economy we can find other things that are better for us to sell. So that is why we should ban smoking. page here.

Fifteen Iraqi soldiers died last Friday while carrying transporting bombs in the back of a truck. The bombs ignited and killed all the men on the truck. They confiscated the bombs from a disposal area in northern Iraq and east of Mosul. Iraqi soldiers frequently take controlled explosions away from the residential area. Mosul is one of the few remaining countries where there is still routine violence. Violence in Iraq has reached its highest number of violent deaths in August. Iraqi government figures show that there has been 393 civilian death and 60 Iraqi police officers and soldiers have died to in that month.

and ignited in the truck, they took it away from a residential area, the soldiers usually dont do this so they weren't careful, all the men were killed in the truck but didn't hurt anyone around the moving truck, Mosul still has a routine amount of violence.

At the Foxborough High school in Springfield, Mass students are taking breathalizer tests during the school day. The school administrater are doing this to find kids that were drinking. If the students get a score over .02 they will be suspected of drinking.Then will be suspeded for 5 days. In 2005 they first started to have high schools take breathalizer tests at school dances and social events. Parents from the school think that this will benifit the school and it might be a good thing. for all the people who do drink it might make them stop and cut it down a little. Many parents think that this chould be seen at many other local school also.

What: 15 Iraqi soldiers died from a bomb being transported and ignited in the truck

Why: The soldiers weren't carful with it because they thought it was an old bomb that wouldn't ignite.
opinion:I think its sad that the people died but they should have been more careful and maybe they shuld have checked the bomb over before they transported it.
